2024 Ford Mustang RTR is set to make its grand debut on May 24. RTR Vehicles, the renowned performance vehicle manufacturer, has recently tantalized enthusiasts with a teaser video showcasing the Mustang RTR's new grille, adorned with LED lights.

In a recent social media post, RTR Vehicles provided a close-up view of the Mustang RTR Spec 2's upper grille, revealing an intricate mesh design complemented by trapezoidal LED lights. This glimpse hints at a fresh styling direction for the upcoming model, with expectations of further exterior enhancements. Speculations point towards the possibility of a new front splitter, sleek side sills, and eye-catching wheels, as depicted in a preliminary sketch.

While details remain scarce, RTR Vehicles' mention of an RTR Spec 2 variant implies that the manufacturer might once again offer performance upgrades. The current Mustang RTR Spec 5 impresses with a formidable 750 horsepower and 615 pound-feet of torque, courtesy of a Whipple supercharger system. With the next-generation Mustang RTR likely to retain the powertrain options from its predecessor, it wouldn't be surprising if the Spec 5 sets similar performance benchmarks.

Although the engines carry over from the current generation, the turbocharged 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder and naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8 have received power enhancements. The former now delivers 315 horsepower, while the latter boasts an impressive 480 horsepower. Additionally, an exhaust upgrade elevates the GT variant to 486 horsepower, showcasing Ford's commitment to power and performance.

The Mustang Dark Horse currently reigns supreme in the seventh-generation lineup, offering an impressive 500 horsepower and 418 pound-feet of torque. This range-topping trim not only delivers exhilarating power but also features performance-oriented enhancements such as a Torsen limited-slip differential, a larger rear sway bar, a strut tower brace, and upgraded front dampers.

Stay tuned for the highly anticipated unveiling of the 2024 Ford Mustang RTR on May 24.
