Mercedes-AMG has ventured into the realm of micro-mobility with their latest offering, the Mercedes-AMG E-Scooter. This sleek electric scooter, built in collaboration with Swiss company Micro Mobility Systems AG, combines style, functionality, and the thrill of slow-motion speed.

At first glance, the Mercedes-AMG E-Scooter bears a striking resemblance to the Micro Explorer S from their existing lineup. However, the distinctive AMG badge on the footrest and handlebars, along with the iconic Mercedes star emblem on the front, lend an air of exclusivity to this micro-mobility solution.

The E-Scooter inherits its technical specifications from the Micro Explorer S, featuring adjustable front and rear suspension, a compact display, and a telescopic handlebar. Weighing in at just 14.7 kg (32.4 pounds), it is easily foldable and can be conveniently stored in the trunk of a small car or carried around.

Equipped with a 0.7 hp (9.5 kW) electric motor, the E-Scooter reaches a top speed of 20 km/h (12 mph). Its 9.6 Ah / 450 Wh battery offers an impressive range of 25 miles (40 km) in Eco mode or 16 miles (25 km) in Sport mode. With a quick charge time ranging from 2.1 to 3.5 hours, you can spend more time exploring and less time waiting.

The Mercedes-AMG E-Scooter incorporates a twist grip accelerator, providing an intuitive and engaging riding experience. To ensure safety, it is equipped with front and rear lights, an electric motor brake at the front wheel, a drum brake at the rear, and a foot brake on the rear mudguard. Additionally, the scooter can be connected to your smartphone via Bluetooth, allowing access to navigation, driving data, and controls through a dedicated application.

While Mercedes hasn't disclosed the pricing details, the exclusive AMG branding is likely to command a premium over the base model from Micro Mobility Systems AG. It's worth noting that this isn't the only scooter bearing the AMG name, as it joins the ranks of the Xiaomi Mi Pro 2 Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team edition.
