One of the standout features of the updated Touareg is its cutting-edge IQ.LIGHT HD matrix headlights. Each headlight is equipped with a 19,200 micro-LEDs, capable of projecting an interactive carpet of light onto the road. These headlights are seamlessly connected by a thin illuminated strip, adding a touch of sophistication to the vehicle's appearance.
Complementing the redesigned front end, which features a more pronounced lower intake and a reworked grille, the rear of the Touareg receives a subtle yet evolutionary update. Notably, the 2024 Touareg will be the first Volkswagen vehicle in Europe to feature an illuminated rear logo, further enhancing its distinctive presence on the road.

Inside the cabin, the Touareg continues to impress. Drivers will benefit from "further developed" voice control technology, as well as wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration. Volkswagen has also listened to customer feedback, resulting in softer armrests and a more comfortable center console.
Beyond the aesthetic and interior enhancements, Volkswagen has introduced new features to enhance safety and performance. The facelifted Touareg is equipped with a roof load sensor, capable of detecting roof boxes and adjusting the electronic stability control system accordingly. Additionally, the suspension has undergone a new setup, providing an even wider range between maximum comfort and optimum performance.
While specific details about performance upgrades remain undisclosed, Volkswagen has confirmed that the Touareg R eHybrid will continue to be available. This hybrid model combines a 3.0-liter V6 engine, an electric motor, an eight-speed automatic transmission, and a 17.9 kWh battery pack, resulting in an impressive combined output of 456 hp and an electric-only range of 47 km (29 miles).
