The C-Dome system is the naval adaptation of the Iron Dome air defense complexes, which are integral to Israel's multi-layered missile defense. Developed jointly by the Israeli Missile Defense Organization and Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, C-Dome provides a powerful defense against regional pro-Iranian forces and their evolving armaments.
During the recent series of tests, the C-Dome system successfully intercepted targets posing a threat to Israel's infrastructure and strategic assets within its exclusive economic zone. These exercises showcased the system's capability to counter the constantly advancing weaponry used by hostile elements in the region.
Sa'ar-6 Magen Corvettes Equipped with C-Dome
The Sa'ar-6 Magen corvettes will be equipped with two C-Dome launchers each, as part of their defense against missile threats from militant groups such as Hezbollah. This deployment will further strengthen Israel's maritime security.
