The front bumper will have a new design, and the fog lights may be integrated into the main headlights. The interior of the facelifted Puma may receive changes, such as repositioned central air vents and the installation of the SYNC4 infotainment system.
Ford will introduce an electric version of the Puma as part of the lineup expansion, utilizing the same architecture as the internal combustion engine (ICE) models.

The Puma ST, the performance-oriented version, currently offered with gasoline engines, will continue to be available with two turbocharged three-cylinder options. The smaller 1.0-liter mill of the mild-hybrid variety has 168 horsepower and 183 pound-feet (248 Newton-meters) of torque channeled to the front axle via a seven-speed, dual-clutch automatic. The 1.5-liter variant packs 197 hp and 236 lb-ft (320 Nm) routed to the road through a six-speed manual gearbox.
The production of the Puma, including the EV variant, will take place at Ford's Craiova factory in Romania.
