Nissan has developed an artificial intelligence (AI) tool that can rapidly predict the aerodynamic performance of new car designs.

The traditional method of evaluating aerodynamics involves complex calculations on powerful computers, which can take several days to complete.

Nissan's AI model, after being trained with a large amount of data and paired information such as fluid dynamics equations and car shapes, can predict aerodynamic performance in a matter of seconds.

The use of AI in aerodynamic design can save significant time and allow for the exploration of innovative vehicle body shapes that strike a better balance between design and aerodynamics.
