Koenigsegg Regera Shatters Rimac Nevera's Record, Sets New 0-400-0 km/h Benchmark
Koenigsegg's Regera hypercar has set a new record for the fastest production car to reach 249 mph (400 km/h) and come to a stop, completing the task in 28.81 seconds. This beats the previous record set by the Rimac Nevera, which took 29.94 seconds.
The Regera has also become the record holder for the fastest road-going vehicle to reach 250 mph (402 km/h) and then come to a halt, taking just 29.6 seconds.
The record-breaking runs were performed at the Örebro Airport in Sweden, where the Regera had a long runway stretching at 3,274 meters (10,741 feet) to accelerate and brake.

The Regera is equipped with a twin-turbo V8 engine and features new Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires for improved performance.
The Regera is a limited-production hypercar, with all 80 units already sold and the last car delivered in 2022.
