The Cadillac Escalade IQ will debut on August 9 in New York City. A shadowy image and brief video accompany the announcement to tease the full-size, electric SUV.

A teaser video and image reveal some design details of the Escalade IQ, including vertical LEDs on the front, illuminated grille and Cadillac badge, panoramic glass roof, and a wide screen on the dashboard.

Renderings of the Escalade IQ suggest a similar front end to the teaser video but with differences in the rear design.

The Escalade IQ will likely be built on the General Motors Ultium EV platform, which supports a range of battery capacities.

The Escalade IQ will be manufactured at Cadillac's Factory Zero Detroit-Hamtramck Assembly Center, which already produces the GMC Hummer EV and will soon produce the Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra Denali electric pickups.
