Domino's Pizza announced that more than 1,100 new electric vehicles (EVs) will encompass the brand’s electric delivery fleet in the United States. With currently 800 EVs on the road, more than 300 will be added to the fleet in the coming months.

The fast food company will add custom-branded 2023 Chevy Bolts at select franchise and corporate stores by the end of the year. With the addition of this new batch of electric vehicles, Domino's claims to have the largest fleet of electric pizza delivery vehicles in the United States.

"We're continuing to see a wide range of advantages from using EVs. In addition to business and environmental benefits, an electric delivery fleet also helps with hiring drivers, as they open up a whole new pool of job candidates who may not have their own vehicles," says Joe Jordan, President of U.S. and global services at Domino's.

Domino's is currently partnering with Enterprise Fleet Management, which offers local hands-on account management, vehicle acquisition, financing, telematics solutions and maintenance for the electric delivery fleet.
