TotalEnergies and H2point open a new filling station in the Netherlands for the refueling with hydrogen and the recharging of a battery-electric vehicle

TotalEnergies and H2point have opened a new public hydrogen refueling station (HRS) in Roosendaal, Netherlands. The new site has been built to serve both passenger and heavy-duty vehicles while also offering charging services for electric vehicles (EVs).

The new publicly accessible HRS supplies hydrogen at both 700 and 350 bar pressures, suitable for light and transport vehicles, respectively. In addition, the station has four 300 kW. charging points for EV fast charging.

As part of the collaboration between TotalEnergies and H2point, the new site has been integrated into the heavy duty network of hydrogen stations the mobility company is currently developing in Europe.

"The opening of the hydrogen refueling station in Roosendaal in partnership with H2point is in line with TotalEnergies' ambition to operate completely CO2 neutral by 2050, together with society. It is TotalEnergies' fifth H2point station in the Netherlands, in addition to Arnhem, Delfzijl (buses), Breda and Veldhoven," said Robert Joore, Managing Director of TotalEnergies Marketing Netherlands.

This station is set to be part of the announced joint venture with Air Liquide that aims to establish over 100 heavy-duty hydrogen stations on key European roads.
