Kia Sorento undergoes a mid-cycle update. The latest official images showcase a revamped front fascia with T-shaped headlights and a relocated Kia logo, while the interior receives a modern makeover, introducing a fingerprint authentication system and fresh interior color options.

The official images of the 2024 Sorento reveal a reworked front fascia, showcasing T-shaped headlights accompanied by a daytime running light strip flanking the repositioned Kia logo. The grille sports a fresh look, and the lower air intake retains its separate fog lights, while the vertical air curtains now boast a slightly larger design. Notably, the badge that once adorned the grille has found a new home at the bottom of the hood. Additionally, a gleaming silver skid plate adds a touch of rugged elegance to the Sorento's appearance.

As the mid-cycle update maintains the side profile, the attention to detail continues with newly designed alloy wheels. At the rear, discreetly revised taillights with new graphics now meet at the front. Kia has also lowered the reverse lights, placing them beneath the silver skid plate.

Inside the cabin, the 2024 Sorento maintains its familiar charm, but Kia has made significant upgrades to enhance the driving experience. The chunky vertical air vents in the center console have been replaced by slimmer vents, creating space for an enlarged touchscreen infotainment system.

The South Korean brand has integrated a fingerprint authentication system, a technology that has been successfully implemented in other models from the Hyundai Motor Group. Moreover, the Sorento's interior palette has been expanded with new colors, including Interstellar Grey, Volcanic S, Brown, and Cityscape Green, offering buyers an even more personalized experience.

In typical Hyundai/Kia/Genesis fashion, this is only a design reveal as technical specifications will be disclosed in mid-August.
