Formula 1 racing will take place on the renowned Las Vegas Strip for the first time this year. Anticipation for the late-night street race in November is already growing. In a new promotional video that pays playful homage to the city, Red Bull F1 driver Sergio Perez, along with Team Principal Christian Horner, recently visited the city.

Perez and Horner meet in an elevator where Perez needs to describe his last night. That night, his RB7 F1 car ended up on top of a casino. An evening of gambling went wrong when off-road racer Bryce Menzies got close to the roulette table, and then they both went into their racecars.

Both of them went racing on the dirt. Then Perez returned to Vegas and drove down the strip, but he couldn't get away from the city's magical hold. He lost his car in a puff of smoke after magician Mat Franco made it disappear. Emelia Hartford, the Blue Man Group, and Mr. Las Vegas, Wayne Newton, were some of the other appearances in the video, in addition to Franco.

The video ends with a shot of the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 KR peeling away, a reminder of the race team's new partnership with the American automaker. Earlier this year, the duo declared their intention to design the team's upcoming hybrid power units for the 2026 regulations. The engines will be employed by Oracle Red Bull Racing and Scuderia AlphaTauri until 2030, at least.

This year, Las Vegas is hosting its inaugural Formula 1 Grand Prix as the sport grows in the United States. Last year, the sport included Miami in its tracks, making it three races in the US this year. The Las Vegas Grand Prix is on November 18, followed by the final race on November 26 in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Formula One racing resumes this month following the summer break. The upcoming race is the Dutch Grand Prix, scheduled for August 27th.
