The prototype vehicle showcased the full production body, final headlights, and taillights. The quad exhaust system is set to remain and it is hoped that it will be available in all markets where the Four Rings will sell the spicy crossover.

Riding low to the ground, thanks to a stiffer suspension setup, the 2025 SQ5 boasts the appearance of an oversized hot hatchback. As expected from Audi, the styling shows evolutionary design cues possibly derived from the Q4 E-Tron. Despite camouflage, one major change we notice is the lack of the massive clamshell tailgate in the back, suggesting a likely narrower opening.

The car's interior remained hidden from the paparazzi, but previous prototypes were photographed revealing significant changes. Audi is incorporating a large tablet-style infotainment system, accompanied by a rectangular digital driver's display that is no longer integrated into the dashboard. The center console will house a few traditional controls, as well as a particularly large "Quattro" badge positioned between the central air vents and the main screen.

Depending on the region, the Audi SQ5 has featured both gasoline and diesel V6 engines. The next-generation model is expected to have some kind of electrification, particularly with the forthcoming Euro 7 standard. Therefore, a mild-hybrid system can be anticipated at the minimum.

There is a possibility that the world debut of the SQ5 will happen before the end of this year. Nonetheless, Audi might opt to reveal it on a later occasion.
