Puma created two sneakers to honor Porsche's 60th anniversary. One of the sneakers draws inspiration from the new 911 S/T and will only have 1,963 pairs available.

In honor of the 60th anniversary of the 911, Porsche announced earlier this year that it would create a unique edition of its most popular sports car. The 2024 911 S/T is inspired by the 1972 911 S(T) and is currently the lightest model available for purchase. It includes the engine of the 911 GT3 RS and a manual gearbox.

Porsche has also announced that Puma will be designing two limited edition pairs of shoes inspired by both the 911 S/T and the first 911 S(T). Made in two styles, each representing the car it honors. Unfortunately, they will be made in slightly varying numbers, so not everyone will be able to get both.

The first shoe is finished in light blue, reflecting the colors of the earlier model. Its slimmer profile is meant to reflect the 911 S(T)’s smaller stature. Each pair will bear the number 56 on the heel, as a nod to the track-focused design of the car.

Made of a mix of smooth leather and suede, these shoes have red contrast stitching and bear a 911 grille badge on the tongue and inside. Puma will produce only 1,972 of them to commemorate the year the first 911 S(T) was created. Each shoe will have a series number to certify its individuality.

Additionally, a pair of contemporary gray sneakers will honor the newer 911 S/T. The color was selected to imitate the Shore Blue Metallic shade of the car. Like the Porsche, the Puma shoes come with a cognac brown interior.

The more modern shoe will also bear the number 63, in reference to the first model year of the original 911, as well as Porsche lettering on the heel. It will also have red accents, in addition to one red lace and one black, a feature both pairs share.

In both, the end of the lace features the series number of the shoe. In the case of the more modern pair, Puma has limited production to 1,963 examples—a pair for every person who buys the 2024 Porsche 911 S/T.

Available to purchase at Porsche’s online shop as of September 6, unshod guests of the Porsche Museum store in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen and Weissach will also be able to buy it in person. Prices have not yet been listed.
