The camper van is also enhanced with advanced comfort elements and better connectivity. Germany hosts the debut of the new Mercedes V-Class camper.

Earlier this year, Mercedes-Benz Vans introduced updated versions of the V-Class and Vito ranges. However, details about the camper variant of the midsize van were sparse. Now, the V-Class Marco Polo makes its premiere at the Caravan Salon event in Düsseldorf, Germany. The vehicle showcases both internal and external updates, featuring a renovated design, additional comfort amenities, and heightened digital connectivity.

Upon initial viewing, the revamped V-Class Marco Polo stands out with its renewed exterior styling. It sports a more assertive radiator grille, a larger bumper, and an optional AMG Line design package that includes an LED light strip around the grille. The front face also offers optional Multibeam LED headlights. The rear aspect reveals subtler changes, such as LED taillights, a chrome decorative strip featuring Mercedes-Benz branding, and a re-shaped bumper.

Interior changes are likely to capture more customer interest. The driver's area greets passengers with an overhauled instrument cluster that includes twin 12.3-inch widescreen monitors. The cabin also features updated air vents, an optional wireless phone-charging center console, and a next-gen steering wheel, all contributing to a contemporary ambiance that sets it apart from the previous model.

Upgrades extend to the living quarters as well. A newly introduced Mercedes-Benz Advanced Control (MBAC) interface allows easy management of various camping functions through the cockpit display or a mobile app. A standout feature is the option to turn off non-critical functions with a single tap, making it ideal for prolonged off-grid camping experiences. The Airmatic air suspension can be manipulated to stabilize the camper on uneven ground, all through a simple button press.

The essence of the camper adheres to its time-tested living space design. Capable of housing up to four people, the camper comes with a pop-up roof that features a roof bed, a multi-use seat and bunk configuration, a collapsible table, a fully functional kitchen, and built-in storage.

It is currently unclear when the updated Mercedes-Benz Marco Polo will be available for ordering, and the manufacturer has not yet provided any information regarding pricing.
