This year's Caravan Salon in Germany showcased a variety of intriguing vehicles, among which was Weinsberg's unique camper van built on a Fiat Ducato base. While the Ducato is already a favored choice for camper conversions, Weinsberg's version offers a distinct and eye-catching design.

Introducing the CaraLife 630 LQ for the 2024 model year, this German company skips the pop-up roof seen in the new VW T7 California but incorporates a clever L-shaped kitchen at the front of the living space. The design provides ample room for a sink, two-burner stove, fridge, and a generous amount of countertop space. Additionally, an external fold-out table offers outdoor dining options, while an interior table can be set up for meals and then stored to make way for the shower.

The trend of including showers in compact vans continues to grow, and the CaraLife 630 LQ doesn't disappoint. Weinsberg has designed a quick-set-up stand-up shower that is conveniently located between the kitchen and the bed/garage area. A fold-up mechanism allows the shower to emerge from the floor, and an optional toilet can be stored under the dining bench seat. The van even features a full bathroom setup with a mirror and storage for toiletries located above the kitchen sink.

In laying out the kitchen and bathroom in this manner, Weinsberg successfully divides the CaraLife 630 LQ into two separate zones. The driving area is fully isolated from the living space, similar to the Isuzu stealth camper we previously featured. As a result, the living quarters truly feel like a dedicated space, not merely an extension of the van. A roomy bed fills the rear of the van and comes with an optional extension to enlarge the sleeping area. The primary dining table fits under this bed and the setup is elevated above a modestly-sized garage that's accessible from the rear. Storage cabinets are integrated along the walls.

For those interested in customization, Weinsberg's website offers an array of options, delivering a luxurious camper experience for those embracing the vanlife. With seating and sleep setups for three people, the starting MSRP is set at €59,990 (roughly $65,000). The vehicle is set to tour various European shows throughout the autumn, targeting adventure enthusiasts on the continent.
