The standard Smart #3 features a single electric motor delivering 268 horsepower (200 kW). On the other hand, the more robust Smart #3 Brabus comes with 422 hp (315 kW), generated by two electric motors situated on each axle. The base model accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 5.8 seconds, whereas the Brabus variant completes the same in just 3.7 seconds.
Regarding range, the single-motor Smart #3 provides 455 km (283 miles) under WLTP standards. The range for the dual-motor version is slightly reduced to 435 km (270 miles). DC fast charging capabilities are rated at 150 kilowatts, enabling a charge from 10% to 80% in a mere 30 minutes.
To commemorate the brand's 25th anniversary, a special edition is also being launched at the IAA Mobility event. This edition is built upon the high-end Brabus variant and features a galaxy-themed panoramic roof, enhanced LED headlights, red detailing, and exclusive black-and-white leather seats with built-in headrests.

The Brabus and 25th Anniversary versions are also set to include top-tier interior amenities like a 12.8-inch touchscreen interface, a 9.2-inch HD digital dashboard, a 10-inch head-up display, and a 13-speaker Beats audio system.
After its initial European introduction at the IAA Mobility show, the Smart #3 is expected to hit the market by the end of 2023. European consumers can anticipate availability starting in 2024. The pricing information is yet to be disclosed.
