BMW Motorrad has unveiled the new ConnectedRide Navigator. This system is compatible with all BMW motorcycles built from 2014 onwards, provided they are equipped with a multicontroller and have navigation preparation in place, either as part of the original BMW Motorrad Accessories or retrofitted.

the new BMW Motorrad ConnectedRide Navigator connects every BMW with navigation preparation to the roads of the world. The key features of the ConnectedRide Navigator include the following:

  • Seamless Integration: The Navigator seamlessly integrates with BMW motorcycles equipped with navigation preparation. It syncs routes, recordings, and route planning with the BMW Motorrad app using a personal BMW ID.
  • Internet Connectivity: The device can connect to the internet, ensuring that both maps and functions remain up to date. It can be updated directly via BMW Motorrad systems, similar to a smartphone.
  • User-Friendly Design: The Navigator features a 5.5-inch touchscreen display with high luminosity for optimal readability, even in direct sunlight. The design and user interaction are harmonized with BMW Motorrad TFT screens.
  • Charging: It can be charged via the BMW on-board network or with the included USB-C cable, offering quick charging with up to 2.4 A charging current.
  • Cloud Integration: The Navigator is part of the MyBMW Cloud, allowing users to sync routes and plans across various devices. Routes from other planning portals can also be imported.
  • Compatibility: It is compatible with BMW motorcycles built from 2014 onwards, provided they have a multicontroller and navigation preparation.
  • Smartphone Integration: The Navigator enables centralized control of smartphone functions, including media applications like Spotify and telephone functions. It can also connect with helmets and smartglasses via Bluetooth.

The BMW Motorrad ConnectedRide Navigator will be available starting from November 1, 2023. It can be easily installed by clicking it into the holder of the navigation preparation and locking it with the motorcycle key.
