Renault is continuing its campaign for the unveiling of the new Kardian crossover for South America. Ahead of the official premiere on October 25, the French company has shown the interior of this vehicle.

Renault shares a picture taken inside the All-new Kardian, featuring a high console as well as technological equipment such as an e-shifter, an eight-inch multimedia screen and an ambient lighting strip running along a door panel. It is impossible not to notice the parallels with the Dacia Sandero, but with a little more stylish flair.

According to Renault, the Multi-Sense system allows the driver to choose between different ambient lighting and driving modes depending on his mood. The "e-shifter" allows the driver to change gears with a simple push.

Previous teaser photos show the Kardian's slender headlights on the upper part of its front-end, and a diamond-patterned grille.

Speculation indicates that the Kardian could be Renault's take on the Dacia Sandero Stepway—a high-sitting hatchback variant that boasts several "rugged" enhancements like raised ground clearance, built-in skid plates, plastic wheel arches, among others.

Renault states that the new crossover will have a length less than 4.15 meters (13.62 feet).

This future urban SUV, first to be sold in Latin America, will be unveiled in Rio de Janeiro on 25 October at 10 a.m. local time and, during this event, Renault will present its Renault brand international game plan 2027, as well as a new concept car, with the attendance of Fabrice Cambolive, CEO of the brand.
