Discerning the new aesthetic elements of the crossover proves challenging. The vehicle's updated design is largely concealed by camouflage and additional cladding. The majority of the modifications seem to be focused on the front and rear ends of the car. Despite the cover, the bumpers look more subdued than those on the existing model, and the placement of parking sensors has evidently changed on both front and rear.
When it comes to the vehicle's lighting, not much seems to be different. The pixelated components that add a unique flair to the car seem to remain the same on the updated Ioniq 5, although there might be new graphics added. The camouflage over the doors hints that the distinctive side body lines may be removed in this redesign.
Hyundai Ioniq 5 spy shots
As for the interior, the latest spy shots offer no insights. The dual-screen setup that includes the instrument panel and infotainment screen seems to be absent from the dashboard, although it's possible the driver has concealed most of it.
There's speculation that the redesign could align with the introduction of a new N-Line trim. This would fill the gap between the 320-horsepower, dual-motor model and the top-tier Ioniq 5 N, which boasts up to 641 hp. The rumored N-Line could stand out from the standard lineup with specialized bodywork, wheel designs, and other enhancements.
The exact reveal date for the revamped Ioniq 5 remains unknown. Given the amount of cladding observed in the spy photos, the full reveal might still be some months away. Future spy shots will hopefully provide a clearer look at the vehicle.
