Electreon has completed the construction of the world's first wireless charging terminal for parked urban electric buses (e-buses). The commercial project, delivered to Electra Afikim, Israel's public transportation operator, is located in Rosh HaAyin in the center of the country.

Electreon managed the entire terminal project from start to finish, including electrical infrastructure, required permits and civil engineering. The company also implemented its advanced charging software platform to remotely manage and monitor wireless charging of fleet vehicles at the terminal.

The company partnered with three bus manufacturers selected by the client - HIGER, Ankai and Sunwin. These manufacturers fully integrated Electreon's on-board receivers into their electric buses, and with HIGER and Ankai, completed the full European Union (EU) WVTA approval process, a significant step in establishing the company's wireless electric bus receiver as a standard product available to the entire automotive industry.

The fully commercial project, valued at approximately ILS 5.8 million (approximately USD 1.6 million) for 2023. This includes payments for software services, operations and maintenance over the life of the project.
