Hyundai will use the upcoming CES show in Las Vegas to highlight plans for electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft.

Hyundai's Supernal division will build a vertiport outside the Las Vegas Convention Center so that visitors can see the "future of transportation". As part of this effort, the building will house an eVTOL concept that has a V-shaped tail as well as multiple rotors that can apparently turn 90 degrees.

The Vertiport itself is interesting because it's a mini airport designed for eVTOL aircraft. They're designed to connect to other forms of mobility and can be located in cities, rural areas, and even on top of parking garages or skyscrapers.

Supernal's exhibit will showcase potential flight networks and take visitors on a simulated flight through Los Angeles. These efforts will support the company's goal of creating a "new, efficient transportation option" that will be "widely accessible in the coming decades.
