Lancia is set to unveil the new Ypsilon in February, boasting both hybrid and electric options. This much-anticipated reveal follows a recent leak of unmasked photos.

The 2024 Ypsilon draws inspiration from the Pu+Ra HPE concept, showcasing a prominent black band emblazoned with “LANCIA” across its front. This is complemented by sleek LED lighting and lower-mounted headlights, alongside vertical air curtains and a broad central intake.

While the rear design is more subdued, it doesn't lack flair. It features unique circular taillights with Y-shaped motifs, linked by a black bar that mirrors the front design. Other touches include a modest rear spoiler and an elegantly curved rear window.

Inside, the Ypsilon doesn't disappoint. Spies have revealed a digital instrument cluster and the latest SALA infotainment system. Expect a modern touch with a flat-bottom steering wheel, a convenient tray-like table, and an ambiently lit orb reminiscent of the Amazon Echo.

Lancia has been gradually unveiling details about the Ypsilon, confirming both hybrid and electric powertrains. Though specifics are yet to be fully disclosed, there's speculation that the electric model might share features with the Jeep Avenger and Peugeot e-208. This could mean a 154 hp (115 kW) motor and a 54 kWh battery, potentially offering around 400 km (248 miles) of range.
