Recaro, the specialist automotive seat manufacturer, has showcased a range of exciting new seats at the 2024 Consumer Electronics Show. Among them is the Pro Supreme GT FPR seat, a unique addition that will find its place in the Ford Mustang GT3 for endurance racing.

Developed through a collaboration between Recaro Automotive and Ford Performance Racing, the Pro Supreme GT FPR seat is tailor-made to expedite driver changes during endurance races, where every fraction of a second matters. Recaro's innovative seat design allows for seamless vehicle entry and exit with interchangeable pads and tiered attachment-point side mounts, ensuring adaptability to different driver body types.

Notably, the Pro Supreme GT FPR seat for the Ford Mustang racecar is FIA-certified and has successfully passed rigorous crash tests. It incorporates features such as side-impact neck protection, compatibility with neck safety systems, an ergonomically designed S-shaped backrest, a lightweight yet robust carbon-Kevlar shell, flame-retardant upholstery, and substantial thigh and torso bolsters. It is also compatible with four-, five-, or six-point harnesses for added safety.

In addition to the GT3 Mustang seat, Recaro presents other innovative products at CES 2024. This includes the high-tech Sim Star "24H Le Mans Edition" seat with FeelTech+, offering tactile feedback for sim racing enthusiasts. With seat insert pads equipped with a 14-actuator system capable of translating sounds up to 20,000 hertz into haptic and touch sensations, it promises an immersive sim racing experience akin to real-world driving.

Returning to the realm of actual driving, Recaro introduces the TechArt GTstreet R Flyweight seat, identical to the Podium CF seat featured in the limited-edition TechArt GTstreet R Flyweight model based on the Porsche 911 Turbo S. With a mere weight of 10.8 pounds for the seat shells and lightweight 3D printed pads optimized for ventilation and damping, it aligns perfectly with the car's pursuit of speed.

For those who spend extended hours behind the wheel of commercial vehicles, Recaro showcases the Recaro Ergo M AM384 Commercial Vehicle Seat. This seat boasts an eight-way power-adjustable feature to accommodate various body sizes and incorporates seat belt webbing made of Infra-Red reflective yarn for enhanced in-vehicle IR camera detection, promoting seatbelt use.

Furthermore, there's the RCP Concept Seat, a blend of the Sport C frame and the Ideal Comfort Concept. Its modular construction with an integrated headrest seatback and a low block height allows it to be configured to fit a variety of vehicles, bearing a resemblance to optional perches found in BMW M2 and M4 models.

Last but not least, Recaro introduces the Recaro RCF Infusion technology, already in use on select versions of the Profi XL and Pole Position seats. This technology embraces sustainability by incorporating recycled carbon fiber, utilizing approximately 10-11% of recycled materials, including braided woven carbon, woven glass, and vinyl ester epoxy resin.

The 2024 CES is set to continue until January 12, 2024, at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Nevada.
