Some vehicles sold for as low as $17,700. In the US, there's a $4,000 tax credit for used EVs. Tesla vehicles for the most part wouldn't qualify since they need to be $25,000 or less, but many of these Model 3s would qualify.
It would make them as low as ~$14,000. But potential buyers should check with their local Hertz representative to see if they can apply for the tax credit.
Of course, the reason these Model 3s are listed so cheaply is due to their high mileage over a short period of time and the fact that people are much less careful with rental cars. As a result, they are often a bit beat up.
But the most beat up and cheapest ones are already gone. There are still quite a few around $20,000-$25,000 that would qualify for the tax credit.
It might be someone's best chance to get a cheap Tesla.
