Ford Trucks will only produce 400 examples of the F-Max Select with the 12.7-litre 500bhp diesel engine.

The F-Max has been Ford Trucks' flagship model since its debut in 2018. The Select Series gets blacked-out headlights and a two-tone paint scheme combining black and bronze hues. In addition, black accents adorn the steel rims, wheel arch mouldings and running boards, while bronze trim adorns the mirror housings.

A number plate is mounted in the cabin, and the seats and steering wheel feature the special edition name. Black interior materials are complemented by contrasting bronze stitching.

As is usual with special series passenger cars, the Ford F-Max Select is richly equipped. It comes with a 9-inch touchscreen, air-cushioned driver's seats, a mini-fridge and a double bed. There's also intelligent adaptive cruise control with stop and restart, active lane keeping assist, blind spot monitoring and more.

The powertrain has not undergone any changes: The 12.7-litre Ecotorq diesel unit develops the same 500 hp (368 kW) and 2,500 Nm as in the standard F-Max. The engine is mated to a 16-speed automatic transmission.

Ford has not disclosed pricing for the F-Max Select. Interested parties are asked to contact their local dealers for details.
