Kia has revealed the design of the K4 compact sedan ahead of its public unveiling in New York. The car is based on the Twist Logic design concept. Some will like it, some won't, but there's no denying that the K4 looks unusual. Especially against the background of the former Forte / Cerato.
The company has not yet revealed the technical specifications of the car. In the pictures, the new K4 also looks bigger than its predecessor because of the elongated coupe-style rear end. However, it is still a sedan with a boot lid. Another unusual detail for this body type is the rear door handles integrated into the pillars.

In the cabin, the driver and passenger zones are clearly demarcated. But not by turning the displays towards the driver, but visually: there are more controls on the left and even a differently designed door panel.
Kia K4, depending on equipment, can have a projection display and ventilation of front seats. In addition, the sedan boasts numerous USB ports and a 180W power outlet. The interior upholstery as in the photos is called Slate Green, but the compact sedan will also be offered in the colours Canyon Brown, Onyx Black and Medium Grey.
According to preliminary information, the K4 will be powered by a 1.6-litre turbo petrol engine as well as a 2.0-litre non-turbo engine. In addition, we can expect a hybrid version. More details are expected on 27 March from New York. Sales in the US will start later this year.
