German dealer Carpoint has big plans for the new Dacia Duster. The company showed off ideas for a wild makeover that'll turn the little SUV into a head-turner.

Carpoint wants to jazz up the third-generation Duster, set to hit roads in early 2025. The Romanian best-seller will get a major style boost with a wide body kit, massive wheels, and a slammed suspension.

The package, dubbed the Dacia Duster III Carpoint Edition, is still in the works. But Carpoint's drawings give us a good idea of what's coming. They've cooked up new bumpers front and back, flared fenders, a hood scoop, and fancy door trim. Red accents on the inlets add some extra flair.

Carpoint's not skimping on the wheels either. They're likely to be 20 or 21 inches across, wrapped in super-thin tires that are way wider than stock. The suspension's getting chopped down too, which will make the Duster hug the road but say goodbye to its off-road skills.

The regular Duster stands tall with 217 mm (8.5 inches) of ground clearance - tops in its class. Carpoint's version will sit much lower, trading mountain-goat abilities for street cred.

Currently, the most potent powertrain in the new Dacia Duster lineup is the self-charging hybrid, delivering a combined output of 140 PS. Yet, the brawnier choice might be the mild-hybrid 1.3 TCe with 130 PS, especially since it’s the only variant offering AWD. It’s an open question which one will underpin the Carpoint Edition.

We'll have to wait for Carpoint to spill all the details and actually build one of these souped-up Dusters. Based on their track record, the price should be pretty reasonable when it hits the market.
