The Sir Class SUV is dedicated to Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton. The legendary driver recently finished his career in the Mercedes-AMG Petronas team, with which he won six championships. From next season, Hamilton will drive for Ferrari.

HOF was created by the German tuning studio Hofele, which has extensive experience with Mercedes-Benz cars.

The HOF 'Sir Class' SUV is capable of reaching 300 km/h, leaving the standard AMG G63 with a top speed of 240 km/h far behind. The AMG's 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine has been extensively reworked, including forged aluminium pistons and reinforced connecting rods, new variable geometry turbochargers, a more powerful fuel pump, a reinforced gearbox and software upgrades.

As a result of HOF modifications, the Mercedes G-Class SUV is now equal in power to the AMG One hypercar. However, the changes were not only in performance. The car received a unique carbon fibre dodger and bonnet. The paintwork features Petronas Blue accents, and the standard seats have been replaced with sportier bucket seats. The steering wheel has also been replaced with a rectangular steering wheel, in the style of Formula 1 cars.
