German dealer Carpoint NRW has unveiled its own tuning project for the third-generation Dacia Duster crossover. It is called Dacia Duster RS, where RS stands for Redust Sport.

The Dacia Duster Redust Sport gets a lowered suspension on KW coilovers, 20-inch discs and 20 mm wider wheel arches. The aggressive body kit includes side skirts, spoiler, centre dual exhaust, bonnet with centre air intake and removal of roof rails.

In the cabin, the seats are reupholstered in leather with orange inserts and stitching. Accents of a similar colour are also found on the front panel, door cards and steering wheel. Decorative RGB lighting reminiscent of a gamer's keyboard is also fitted.

Despite its aggressive looks, the Duster Redust Sport doesn't get any changes under the bonnet. The car shown above is fitted with Renault's standard 140bhp self-charging hybrid system. Carpoint NRW also offers a second version based on the 1.3 TCe mild hybrid with 130bhp and four-wheel drive (pictured below). It comes with a different set of five-spoke 20-inch alloy wheels and is finished with a matte black film on the outside.

Both versions are based on the top-of-the-range Duster Extreme. The tuned version of the crossover with mild hybrid is priced at a minimum of €42,490, while the hybrid variant will cost €52,990. That's a whole €21,490 more than the outgoing Duster Extreme Hybrid.
