This is the second fully electric model in the N lineup after the Ioniq 5 N. The new model was presented at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

The Ioniq 6 N is based on the recently updated Ioniq 6 in its "civilian" version. The new model has received a number of modifications to its exterior - new bumpers, an aggressive front splitter, black side skirts, and an aerodynamic rear wing on the "swan neck" supports. The wheel arches have been widened, and the body color palette has been complemented with the striking Performance Blue Pearl color.

From a technical standpoint, everything is as in the Ioniq 5 N: an 84 kWh battery, electric motors in the front (166 kW) and rear (298 kW). Total power reaches up to 478 kW (650 PS) and 770 Nm in N Grin Boost mode. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes 3.2 seconds, while the top speed reaches 257 km/h.

The 800-volt architecture allows charging the battery from 10 to 80% in 18 minutes with a power output of up to 350 kW.

The sedan has received a whole arsenal of features familiar from other N models:

  • N e-Shift - simulation of a dual-clutch transmission
  • N Active Sound+ with three customizable sound profiles
  • N Drift Optimizer
  • N Battery Preconditioning
  • N Torque Distribution with 11 levels of adjustment.

Exclusive to Ioniq 6 N, the N Ambient Shift Light feature uses customizable interior lighting for visual cues on the optimal moment to "shift gears".

The suspension has also been significantly upgraded, and for better grip, special Pirelli P Zero 5 tires sized 275/35 R20 are used.

The interior features N bucket seats, a new steering wheel, metal pedal covers, and even a mount for a GoPro camera in the ceiling - for filming track days.

Hyundai has not yet revealed either the price or the range of the Ioniq 6 N.
