Audi has unveiled the second generation of the coupe-like crossover Q3 Sportback. The updated model features an enhanced corporate design, a refreshed interior and a wider range of powertrains.

The new model is built on the same MQB platform as the third generation Q3 presented in June. The main exterior difference is the sloping and lower roof, giving the silhouette a sportier appearance. At the same time, the trunk volume remains unchanged at 488 liters.

The appearance of the crossover looks significantly different from its predecessor. The Q3 Sportback has inherited the LED optics from the new A6 Avant: slender headlights at the front and a light strip at the back. Another new feature is the illuminated Audi logo on the rear.

The interior is designed in the style of the latest models of the brand. The driver has access to a digital instrument panel with a diagonal of 11.9 inches and a multimedia screen of 12.8 inches. Traditional steering wheel switches have been discarded: all functions - from turn signals to wipers and drive mode selection - are now grouped in blocks on the steering column. As a result, the gear selector for the automatic transmission has disappeared from the central tunnel, freeing up space for two cup holders and a wireless smartphone charging pad.

The engine lineup matches that of the standard Q3. The base unit is a 1.5 TFSI with 150 hp, complemented by a mild hybrid system. There is also a 2.0 TDI diesel (150 hp) and two gasoline engines combined with all-wheel drive - with 204 and 265 hp.

Additionally, the Q3 Sportback e-hybrid with a combined power of 272 hp is offered. The plug-in hybrid is equipped with a 25.7 kWh battery (19.7 kWh usable), providing up to 118 km of range on electric power according to the WLTP cycle.

The sales launch in Europe is scheduled for November 2025. In Germany, prices start at €46,450 for the Q3 Sportback 1.5 TFSI and €51,150 for the plug-in hybrid. Production of both versions will be established at the Audi plant in Győr (Hungary).
