At the IAA Mobility 2025 auto show in Munich, the official presentation of the new Mercedes-Benz GLC EQ Technology took place. The electric crossover will enter production in the first half of 2026 and will replace the EQC in the model lineup.

GLC EQ retains the proportions of the gasoline GLC but features new bumpers and lighting. The main focus is on the front grille with 942 LED light points. The signature "stars" motif has migrated to the DRLs and rear lights.

The interior is designed in the spirit of the latest brand innovations: a 39.1-inch (99.3 cm) MBUX Hyperscreen stretches the entire width of the dashboard, surrounded by circular vents and complemented by ambient lighting. The center console houses two wireless charging pads and cup holders.

The wheelbase has increased to 2,972 mm (+80 mm compared to the ICE version), providing more space in the cabin. The trunk volume is 570 liters, plus a 128-liter front trunk. All versions use a 94 kWh battery. The lineup starts with the GLC 400 4MATIC version with 483 hp. Later, four more modifications will be introduced.

The range is up to 713 km in the WLTP cycle. It supports charging power of up to 330 kW: in 10 minutes, you can recharge up to 300 km.

Like the S-Class, the electric GLC comes with Airmatic air suspension, a rear-wheel steering system, and an electronic assistant that uses Google Maps data for optimal suspension settings based on current road conditions.

Prices will be announced closer to the start of sales.
