Nearly a year after the announcement, the Volvo EX30 Single Motor appeared on the company's American website. The model of the outgoing year was only sold in the Twin Motor Performance version with 422 hp.
The EX30 Single Motor is equipped with a single electric motor on the rear axle with a power of 268 hp. The battery is the same as that of the all-wheel-drive version — 69 kWh, but the EPA cycle range reaches 261 miles (420 km). Upgrading to the Twin Motor Performance with a range of 253 miles (407 km) will cost an additional $6,000.
Volvo offers the Plus configuration as the base, but you can upgrade to the Ultra level for $46,650. It includes Park Pilot Assist parking assistant, a 3D surround-view camera, and other options.
The maximum charging power is up to 175 kW. According to Volvo, the EX30 Single Motor charges from 10% to 80% in 28 minutes.
For the 2026 model year, Volvo presented another variant of the EX30 — the more rugged EX30 Cross Country for $48,150. It is only available with all-wheel drive.
