Renault expanded the Captur lineup by introducing a new Eco-G modification with 120 hp and LPG equipment. Thanks to two fuel tanks, the car can travel up to 1,400 km without refueling.

The new Eco-G 120 engine is based on the 1.2-liter three-cylinder turbocharged TCe 115 (HR12) with direct injection. After modification, its power increased to 120 hp (+20 hp) and torque to 200 Nm (+30 Nm).

When running on liquefied gas, the Captur emits on average 10% less CO₂ compared to a similar gasoline version. At the same time, Renault increased the gas cylinder volume by 25% - from 40 to 50 liters. Combined with a 48-liter gasoline tank, the total range reaches 1,400 km.

Fuel consumption in LPG mode starts from 7.2 l/100 km, on gasoline from 5.9 l/100 km. CO₂ emissions are from 117 g/km on gas and 133 g/km on gasoline, which is even lower than the previous Eco-G 100 version. The gas cylinder is located in place of the spare wheel and does not affect the gasoline tank volume.

The Eco-G 120 engine is offered with a 6-speed manual transmission. In France, prices for the Captur Evolution Eco-G 120 start at €26,400 or €210 per month - at the level of the Eco-G 100 version.
