The new Škoda Epiq was first presented to the public—albeit in camouflage coloring—on the streets of Porto, Portugal.

The new Skoda Epiq is technically close to the VW ID.Polo and Cupra Raval. It is built on the new front-wheel-drive platform MEB+, focused on low weight and high energy efficiency. In terms of dimensions (4.17 m in length), the model is comparable to the Kamiq, but due to its electric architecture, it has a more spacious interior.

The design follows the new corporate style Modern Solid. For the first time, a T-shaped light signature is used, which will later appear on other models of the brand. Wheels from 17 to 19 inches in diameter are planned for Epiq.

The interior features a 5.3-inch digital instrument panel and a central 13-inch screen. All seats are upholstered with 100% recycled polyester materials. Three design options are provided.

The trunk volume is 475 liters, and with the rear seats folded—1,344 liters, which is 75 liters more than the Kamiq. A separate place is provided for storing the charging cable.

Skoda will offer three versions: Epiq 35 (85 kW), Epiq 40 (99 kW), and Epiq 55 (155 kW). The two junior modifications are equipped with an LFP battery with a capacity of 38.5 kWh, the top one with an NMC battery of 55 kWh. The range reaches up to 430 km according to the WLTP cycle. Fast DC charging is possible with a power of up to 133 kW, and in the Epiq 55 version, charging from 10 to 80% takes about 23 minutes.

The Epiq will receive the Travel Assist 3.0 system with adaptive cruise control and lane keeping. Also available are a surround view, intersection movement assistant, and up to seven airbags, including a central one between the front seats.

The full presentation of the novelty will take place later this year. In Germany, prices are expected at the level of the gasoline Kamiq—around €26,000.
