Dacia has unveiled updated versions of the Sandero and Jogger models. The biggest change concerns the modifications with gas equipment for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) — they have received a more powerful engine combined with an EDC automatic transmission.

Both models have undergone a light facelift, but the key innovations are under the hood. The new Eco-G 120 engine is installed in the Sandero, Sandero Stepway, and Jogger.

Previously, dual-fuel versions (petrol/LPG) were offered only with a 1.0-liter Eco-G 100 engine with 100 horsepower and exclusively with a manual transmission. Now there is a 1.2-liter three-cylinder turbo engine with 120 horsepower, which can be combined with a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission (EDC). At the same time, the 6-speed "manual" is retained for the basic versions.

The manufacturer has also increased the volume of the gas tanks located in the spare wheel well. In the Sandero, the capacity has risen from 40 to 49.6 liters, and in the Jogger — from 40 to 48.8 liters. According to the company, this provides approximately 20% more range on LPG compared to the previous version. The combined declared range is 1,590 km for the Sandero, 1,480 km for the Sandero Stepway, and 1,450 km for the Jogger.

External changes are minimal. The 2026 models have received a new light signature in the form of an inverted "T" and rear lights with a pixel design. In the Sandero Stepway and Jogger Extreme versions, Starkle material is widely used on the wheel arches and side moldings. This is recycled plastic without painting, with increased scratch resistance.

In the cabin, the central multimedia system screen has been increased to 10.1 inches instead of the previous 8 inches. The analog instrument panel has been replaced with a 7-inch digital display.

The cars are also refined in accordance with the current safety requirements of the European Union. Standard equipment includes a driver fatigue monitoring system and an automatic emergency braking system.

Prices and sales start dates have not yet been disclosed.
