The Lynk & Co 10+ received 912 horsepower and will accelerate to a hundred faster than three seconds.

The Lynk & Co brand, a joint project between Geely and Volvo, has decided not to delay updating its flagship electric lineup. The Z10 sedan, which entered the market in the fall of 2024, did not deliver the expected results: sales amounted to only about 11,500 units. The manufacturer's response - the model with the index 10 and the top modification 10+ are coming to replace it.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China (MIIT) has already revealed the new model's specifications during certification, and later Lynk & Co published the first official images.

Aggressive design and aerodynamics

The plus version immediately stands out in appearance. A massive rear spoiler has been added to the trunk lid, complementing the standard integrated element. Sporty bumpers, side skirts, and 21-inch wheels suggest that this car is designed for dynamic driving. At the same time, the sedan retains the brand's characteristic frameless mirrors and semi-hidden door handles.

The car's dimensions are impressive: the length is 5050 mm, the width is 1966 mm, and the height is 1468 mm. The 3005 mm wheelbase provides plenty of space in the cabin. A LiDAR is installed on the roof, indicating the presence of advanced autonomous driving systems.

Power at supercar level

The most interesting part is the technical specs. The Lynk & Co 10+ has a powertrain similar to that used in the updated Zeekr 001. Two electric motors from Quzhou Jidian Electric Vehicle Technology deliver a total of 680 kW, equaling 912 hp. The front motor has a power of 310 kW (416 hp), and the rear motor is 370 kW (496 hp).

Although there is no official data on dynamics yet, analysts predict an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in about 2.8 seconds. For comparison, the Zeekr 001, which is 153 kg heavier, does it in 2.91 seconds. The top speed is limited to 240 km/h. The electric car is based on 900-volt architecture, allowing ultra-fast charging.

Digital content and prospects

The G-Pilot H5 driver assistance system is responsible for safety and comfort. It uses data from the LiDAR, three millimeter-wave radars, 11 cameras, and 12 ultrasonic sensors. The information array is processed by the Nvidia Drive Orin chip with a performance of 254 TOPS. The sedan is expected to be equipped with batteries with a capacity of 95 kWh or 103 kWh.

For those who do not need excessive power, Lynk & Co will offer the base version of the model 10. It will have rear-wheel drive with a single motor of 300 kW (402 hp) or 370 kW (496 hp) and 19-inch wheels. Prices for the current Z10 in China range from $27,125 to $33,370. The new "ten" will probably remain in this price range to compete more effectively with Tesla and Xiaomi.
