The rebranding of Dacia (the Romanian brand is wholly owned by Renault Group) began in 2021, when it was introduced new identity : emblem, corporate font, as well as palettes for car design, printing and dealerships. The websites were the first to be updated, followed by printed products and car dealerships of the brand, and now the turn has come to the cars themselves.
The "X"-like emblem is a combination of the letters "D" and "C", depicted in a new corporate font. From now on, it adorns the radiator grilles and wheel hubs, while the full brand name is applied on the trunk lids and steering wheels. Together with the new logo, all Dacia models received new radiator grilles in the same style with white graphic elements on a black background.
In addition, Lichen Khaki has been added to the Dacia body color palette, an earthy shade similar to the color of natural moss, designed to “emphasize Dacia’s close connection with nature.” And restyled cars have got a non-switchable limiter at around 180 km / h. An interesting decision, given the fact that most modifications of Sandero, Logan, Duster and other models of the brand and without a limiter can not always accelerate to such a speed.
The updated Dacia range will be presented at the Paris Motor Show in October this year. Then cars with new emblems will go on sale.
