Tesla Cybertruck has been expected on the market for three years, but due to various problems, it still does not become a mass-produced electric vehicle. One of the reasons for the delay is the constant change in the design of the car.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk admitted during a meeting with the Silicon Valley Tesla Owners Club that the company was too carried away with correcting the appearance of the Cybertruck, which debuted in 2019.
“We need to get on with this [Cybertruck launch]. At least the design is finally approved. We got too carried away [with design updates],” said Elon Musk.
Other reasons for the delay are problems with the supply of electronic components, which now affects all major car manufacturers, as well as problems with logistics. The pickup is planned to be produced at the new Gigafactory Texas plant, which has not yet reached its design capacity and is still unprofitable for the company.
