"People's Bayraktar" is an foundraising initiative of the Serhiy Prytula Foundation. It was planned that the collection of 500 million hryvna's (16.2 million euros) would take a week and for this money it would be possible to buy three Bayraktar TB2.
Instead, Ukrainians in just three days donated 600 million hryvna's (19.5 million euros), which was enough for four UAVs.
On June 27, after the end of fundraising, Baykar Makin stated that the company would not take money from the People's Bayraktar initiative, but instead would give Ukraine three copies free of charge.
Serhiy Prytula replied that the money saved would be used to ensure the victory of Ukraine in cooperation with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Thank you for appreciating the ability of Ukrainians to unite! We are impressed with your decision!

Bayraktar TB2 is a Turkish strike operational tactical medium-altitude unmanned aerial vehicle with a long flight time, equipped with an internal combustion engine and an automatic take-off and landing system. The body of the UAV is made of composite materials.
During the full-scale war with Russia, the Bayraktar TB2 proved to be highly effective in aerial reconnaissance and air strikes. Bayraktar UAVs destroyed Russian air defense systems, armored vehicles, landing craft and even a helicopter.
