The "Come Back Alive" army relief fund purchased 100 Atlas unmanned aerial systems for Ukrainian defenders. Unlike drones of brands such as DJI and Autel, widely distributed in the Ukrainian military, Atlas copters are designed for use in combat conditions.

A hundred Atlas complexes consist of 300 drones, as well as tablets and repeaters for them. The value of the deal was 5 million euros, reported on the "Come Back Alive" Facebook page.

The Fund emphasized that this is the first mass purchase of drones of a similar class, specially designed for the needs of the military. The copters carry a high-quality thermal imaging camera for surveillance at night and, unlike civilian drones, have secure communication channels.

Such drones are used for aerial reconnaissance and adjusting artillery fire. The first copters from the specified batch are already working at the front in the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Ukrainian instructors were trained in the control of Atlas drones in Latvia. The Foundation promised to publish more details about this later.

The Atlas PRO unmanned aircraft complex was created by the Latvian company Atlas Dynamics. The UAV has a diameter of 50 cm and a maximum take-off weight of 1.7 kg. The maximum flight time is 50 minutes.
