The compact crossover Kia XCeed appeared in mid-2019 and will soon be updated. Along with this, the model will receive a new version of the GT-Line with a more sporty design.

It is the Kia XCeed GT-Line that is depicted in two teaser images that Kia distributed ahead of the debut of the 2023 model year car. Judging by the sketches, the crossover will receive modified front bumpers, new headlights with boomerang stripes of daytime running lights, other exhaust pipes and original taillights with many luminous dots.

The manufacturer has not yet shown the interior of the updated Kia XCeed. The interior is expected to be updated following the example of other versions of the Kia Ceed. So, you can expect a 12.3-inch virtual instrument panel, an updated multimedia system, new electronic driver assistants and additional trim options.

According to preliminary information, the updated crossover will be presented only with hybrid power plants. Two are already known: MHEV (mild hybrid) based on a 1.0-liter turbo engine with 120 hp. and PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid) with a 1.6-liter naturally aspirated engine and a 44.5 kW (60 hp) electric motor. The total peak power of the installation in the second case will be 140 hp, and the battery with a capacity of 8.9 kWh will provide an electric range of up to 60 km.

The premiere of Kia XCeed 2023 will take place on July 18.
