In order to create the Utopia, Pagani consulted with owners of its existing models. The three things that they requested were "simplicity, lightness, and the pleasure of driving," according to the company's announcement.
The Utopia has a less flamboyant design appearance than the Huayra or Zonda. The company strives to keep the active aerodynamic features subtle in order to maintain the vehicle's sleek lines.
Inside, the Utopia departs from the contemporary trend of full-digital displays. Between the analog speedometer and tachometer is a single screen. Pagani conceals the center stack with a row of instruments, switches, and HVAC controls without an infotainment monitor.

The Utopia'smonocoque is made with Pagani's Carbo-Titanium HP62 G2 and Carbo-Triax HP62 materials, while the front and rear subframes are crafted from Chromoly steel. Additionally, the bodywork uses a "new type of A-class carbon fiber" that is 38 percent more stiff but at the same density as older versions of carbon fiber. The quad exhaust systemis titanium with a ceramic coating that weighs just over 13.23 pounds (6 kilograms). By utilizing all of these lightweight materials, the total weight comes to 2,822 pounds (1,280 kilograms).

The Utopia is equipped with a 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 from Mercedes-AMG that makes 852 hp (635 kilowatts) at 6,000 rpm and 811 lb.-ft. (1,100 Newton-meters) of torque from 2,800 to 5,900 rpm. Unfortunately, the company isn't disclosing the price or saying when deliveries begin. However, with only 99 examples being produced, we imagine the Utopia will come at a hefty price tag.
