The Spectre electric coupe has already been tested to temperatures as low as minus 40 degrees Celsius in Sweden, but it appears that the premium EV is now being refined for the warmer environment.
The fact that the Spectre is at least making a brief appearance during this test session at the Nürburgring does not suggest that it will be a sporty driver's automobile; it's more likely that Rolls-Royce is using this time to improve the comfort levels even more as part of its aim of achieving 2.5 million kilometers of testing.
Rolls-Royce Spectre at Nurburgring
The Rolls-Royce Spectre uses the "Architecture of Luxury" platform, which is also shared with the Cullinan and Phantom. Obviously, it has been modified for added strength to carry a large battery-electric powertrain.
The battery will weigh 700kg on its own and it will be the largest in the BMW Group, so that means it has to have more than the 105 kWh usable capacity of the iX SUV - this could mean a power rating over the iX M60's 455 kW (619 hp).

The new Rolls-Royce Spectre will likely have a price tag close to the current Phantom, which is $460,000. However, as with all Rolls-Royce models, there is no limit to how much money you can spend on customization and upgrades.
The full reveal is scheduled to take place in 2023, so prepare for a lot more months of spy videos and teasers before we get the whole story.
