Yesterday BMW announced the most powerful M-model in its history, the XM Label Red, but did not show it. However, shortly after, BMW Austria accidentally (or not) shared a picture on Instagram of this powerful SUV.

The BMW XM Label Red car is painted dark blue and has red accents on the front grilles, window line, and shoulder line instead of the standard XM's 'Night Gold' trim. It's interesting to note that while the BMW XM's official reveal photos showed the plug-in hybrid SUV on its optional 23-inch wheels, the XM Label Red appears to be photographed on the smaller 22-inch wheels.

The most powerful road-legal series-produced car in the history of BMW M, as we already know, will develop 550kW/748 hp and 1000 Nm from its 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine and plug-in hybrid system - increasing the standard XM's outputs by 70kW/95 hp and 200 Nm. XM Label Red will go from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) faster than the standard XM, which does it in 4.3 seconds.

The BMW XM Red Label will be priced at $185,000 and added to the model range in autumn 2023. Though it's an pricey, the vehicle is less costly than Lamborghini Urus and Aston Martin DBX707 models and has more horsepower.
