The Elite II now comes with features that make it simpler for pilots to fly, like assisted steering that helps turn the nose wheel for taxiing. Ground spoilers will automatically deploy during landing or a rejected take-off to help slow down.
The Elite II plane has an optional Autothrottle system that automatically adjusts the power management to create desired flight characteristics. There is also an Emergency Garmin Autoland option which can land the plane autonomously without human intervention in the event of an emergency.
The Elite II model comes with GE Honda HF120 jet engines for the same max cruising speed of 422 knots (or 486 mph/782 kmph).
