Lunaz is including "significant body and chassis reinforcements" so the vehicle will remain stiff even without its roof. Although the exterior looks similar to the original model, it can now seat eight people because of two rows of couch-like backseats. Also, in reference to yachting, there is Mocca Walnut flooring in the rear passenger area.
The front seat occupants get their own special center console with a built-in cool box and charging station for devices. The infotainment system is free-standing, and there are new switches and controls. The interior trim is Mocca Walnut, which has a unique chevron pattern created by matching each veneer leaf individually.
Besides the Safari variant, Lunaz previewed a long wheelbase Range Rover in a Town configuration. It will be chauffeur driven roughly 80% of the time and reside in Monaco.
The SUV has a two-tone design with a coral body and a jet black roof. The inside has multi-color leather and wool seats. These seats offer power adjustment as well as heating, ventilation, and massage functions. There are also many other features including walnut wood trim, heated/cooled cup holders, a fridge, a wireless smartphone charger, and a watch winder for four timepieces. Finally, the highlights include a six-inch infotainment system and a premium audio system with a 1300-watt amplifier.
The company hasn't released detailed specifications yet, but the electromod Range Rovers come with a dual-motor all-wheel drive system that produces about 360 hp (268 kW / 365 PS) and 450 lb-ft (609 Nm) of torque. There is no current information on how much these cars cost, with Lunaz only saying that pricing starts at £245,000 ($286,803 / €281,538).
