The Mk_1comes with a body-on-frame chassis as well as optional front and rear locking differentials, making it a great choice for off-roaders. It also has a two speed transfer box and generous ground clearance of 480 mm (19 inches). Not to mention, it can wade through water up to 800 mm (31.5 inches) deep! Munro mentions that the approach and departure angles are 84 and 51 degrees respectively, with a ramp breakover angle of 148 degrees.
Customers can choose from either a 61-kWh battery or a larger 82-kWh pack, with a maximum range of up to 190 miles (306 kilometers). Munro says the Mk_1 can handle an off-road course for as many as 16 hours on one charge.

With a 100-kW DC charger, the battery can go from 15 to 80 percent in 36 minutes. If it's plugged into a 22-kW AC outlet, recharging will take about three hours to get from 15 to 100 percent. Even after eight years and 100,000 miles (nearly 161,000 kilometers), the battery should still have around 80 percent of its original charge capacity.
The Munro mentions that the Mk_1 has an instant torque of 700 Newton meters (516 pound-feet) available at speeds up to 80 km/h (50 mph). This gives the vehicle a maximum payload of 1,000 kilograms (2,204 pounds) along with a towing capacity of 3,500 kg (7,716 lbs). If you go for the more powerful "Performance" version it'll do 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in only 4.9 seconds. However, since the vehicle is engineered prioritize torque over speed, its top speed is limited to only 129 km/h (80 mph).
The Utility model from Munro will cost £49,995 (without VAT) for the five-door version with five seats and a 130-inch wheelbase. That comes to about $61,000 or €58,200 at today's exchange rates. The Mk_1 is handcrafted and will be delivered in 2023.
