Toyota is bringing back the popular Nightshade Edition trim for the 2024 Corolla, after it was not offered in 2023. This special appearance package will be available for the Corolla Sedan, Hatchback, and Hybrid models.

The package enhances the Corolla's sporty appeal, building on the SE trim. The Nightshade Edition features bronze-finished 18-inch wheels, blacked-out Toyota badges, and a gloss-black sport mesh grille. The side mirrors, rear badges, shark fin antenna, lower diffuser, and Vented Sport Wing are also finished in black, and the rear end gets a new rear lip spoiler.

The Corolla Nightshade Edition is available in three color schemes: Midnight Black Metallic, Classic Silver Metallic, and Ice Cap. For hatchback models, buyers can choose from two-tone color combinations such as Windchill Pearl with a black roof, Classic Silver with a black roof, or solid Midnight Black Metallic.

Standard features for the Nightshade Edition include sport seats with fabric inserts, an eight-inch touchscreen display, a 4.2-inch instrument display, and Toyota Safety Sense 3.0. Buyers can also opt to upgrade their sound system with the JBL Audio package. The Nightshade Package can also be added to the SE Premium trim, which includes a blind-spot monitor, rear cross-traffic alert, Qi wireless device charging, and a power moonroof.

The Corolla Hybrid is powered by a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine and two motor generators, achieving an impressive 47 mpg (5.0 L/100 km). The hatchback and sedan models are powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 169 hp (126 kW/171 PS).

The pricing for the 2024 Corolla lineup has not been announced yet. The 2023 Toyota Corolla Sedan LE starts at $22,645 and Corolla SE at $25,093. The Nightshade Edition is expected to hit Toyota dealerships in the fall.
